Special Friends Ministry

The Special Friends Ministry aims to walk with Preschool-Elementary students as they learn Biblical truths and learn our three key principles: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. The Special Friends; Ministry is designed to minister specifically to children with unique abilities and special needs. We desire for all children to know the love of Christ and to understand who Jesus is through hands-on activities.

Anyone is able to know the Gospel, whether you have a disability or not. The Special Friends Ministry is here to offer support, whether physical, intellectual, behavioral, or emotional. Every Sunday we match each child with a buddy who guides, assists, and helps engage the child as they play and learn with their peers. Our goal is not for these children to fit into a box, but that we will expand our “box” to include them in our walk toward spiritual growth. We serve a limitless God who demonstrates His strength through our weaknesses to do great things for His Kingdom.
