Opportunities From: Salt+Light

Are you good with a camera? How about a drone? Do you have a steady hand and a good eye for a shot?

This volunteer operates two robotic cameras that are controlled in the broadcast booth located below the Worship Center. In this position, you will lead worship through the lens of these cameras. You will use “pushes” and “pulls” along with static shots to help create a seamless video experience for our guests.

Volunteers are scheduled about once a month. Experience is preferred but not required. Responding to this opportunity here will get you in conversation with our Worship Media & Technology Director. 

Do you have a desire for excellence? Do you agree that the environment is important to enhance the audience's ability to engage in worship without distractions? Do you have a creative eye for color and an interest in learning how to use lighting technology? 

The Lighting Operator is responsible for executing the pre-programmed lighting cues. The ability to “feel” and anticipate the dynamics within the worship set and knowing the flow of the service are important.

Volunteers are scheduled about once a month. Experience is preferred but not required. Responding to this opportunity here will get you in conversation with our Worship Media & Technology Director. 

Do you love to worship and leading other people to worship our Risen King? Do you ever sing the CORRECT lyrics to songs or find yourself correcting others who sing the wrong lyrics? Can you multi-task while listening to music? This could be your gig! 

The ProPresenter Operator is responsible for leading worship by presenting lyrics and graphics to those in the auditorium. You will be responsible for “firing” videos, graphics, and lyrics.

Volunteers are scheduled about once a month. Experience is preferred but not required. Responding to this opportunity here will get you in conversation with our Worship Media & Technology Director. 

Are you interested in working behind the scenes? Do you have any interest or experience in video broadcasts? Are you willing to learn a new skill and be a part of a fun team? That's us... the Media/Technology Team and we're looking for volunteers. 

The switcher operator is responsible for everything that is shown on our Livestream. Responsibilities will include listening to the Producer, transitioning between camera, graphics, and video playback sources, and execute necessary cues on the Switcher console. This position is important because it helps create a seamless, distraction-free worship experience for our online audience.

The Sound Board Operator is responsible for helping "dial in" the audio during rehearsal. Additional aspects desired from the volunteer include the ability to adapt during the service with precision, to communicate with the worship team, and to control monitoring for both the band and choir.
