Opportunities From: Salt+Light

Crossover Life Group Leaders are responsible for leading and teaching a Life Group while helping to create community within the group. You will not be alone in this! Each group has multiple leaders who help share the leadership and teaching duties. A minister will provide you with lesson resources and teaching aids to help you prepare for class. Each Sunday morning, one Life Group leader will teach the lesson, and every leader will help welcome members and guests into the Life Group time. Life Group leaders will also delegate, assist, and encourage other supporting class leaders (Fellowship Planner, In-reach/Outreach, and Serve Leaders) to create opportunities outside of Sunday morning, where group members can grow together outside the walls of the church.                  

We come together every Sunday morning in Life Groups to engage in community with others in similar life stages--for Crossover, that's adults from college-age years to empty nesters. The relationships fostered by Life Groups include the weekly meeting time but are intended to extend well past Sunday mornings.

A Crossover Life Group Fellowship Planner is someone gifted with organization and administration that desires to support the Life Group Leader in thinking creatively about how to connect the group outside of Sunday mornings. The planner dreams the idea and coordinates the execution of fellowship events.

Under guidance from ministry staff, Life Group leaders delegate, assist, and encourage other supporting class leaders (Fellowship Planner, In-reach/Outreach, and Serve Leaders) to create opportunities outside of Sunday morning, where group members can grow together outside the walls of the church.

A Crossover Life Group Service Coordinator who likes to help organize Life Group members for our designated Serve Days and will recognize and suggest other ministry / mission opportunities throughout the year. This person coordinates with ministry staff and local partners as we seek to make a difference right here in Saline County!  

Under guidance from ministry staff, Life Group leaders delegate, assist, and encourage other supporting class leaders (Fellowship Planner, In-reach/Out-reach, and Serve Leaders) to create opportunities outside of Sunday morning, where group members can grow together outside the walls of the church.

Our Crossover Out-reach/In-reach Leaders welcome new visitors, review the weekly attendance reports, and make contact to group members to encourage others in faith. From the parking lot to the Crossover Cafe and to the pews, the Out-reach/In-reach leaders help others find a group connection, and they also work on cultivating that relationship connection among members of a Life Group.
