Habitat for Humanity -- Committee involvement

Description

Committee work is like the framing that goes up on a new construction; it may be covered up later with things more noticeable like sheetrock and paint and adornments, but all the noticeable things are made possible because the framing is plumb. Volunteers serve on various committees to support the Executive Director in executing the mission of Habitat. Committees include Building, Church Relations, Development, Family Selection & Support, ReStore, and Finance. Each committee has its own rhythm and routine for meeting times and frequency, and though unforeseen circumstances certainly can affect your availability, your consistent attendance and involvement is most helpful.

Habitat thrives on the generous volunteer hours in committees just as much as the build sites. Responding to this opportunity will get you connected with Habitat so that you will be notified of next steps in serving.
